The following files are in this directory:


COPYRIGHT		Contains copyright and distribution restrictions for
			SimpleScalar

INSTALL			Brief installation instructions (for complete instructions,
			see the pointer to the technical report below)

release.tar.gz		The full SimpleScalar release, including the cross-platform
			GNU tools and the simulator codes

chunks			This directory contains the simplescalar release in 
			one-megabyte chunks (they can just be cat'ed together
			and then gunzipped).

x86.tar.gz		SimpleScalar x86, which is a functional simulator that
			runs x86/Linus binaries

simplesim-0.1.tar.gz	Holds only the SimpleScalar simulator code (note: these codes
			need binaries compiled by the cross-compiler (see release.tar.gz))
