[755-1] Office hours for 755-TA

755-folks,

Please make a note of the following regarding my office hours:

1. You can find me at CS 5364 from 11 to 12 every M,W,F.
In that office however I have access to a PC, and the Mentor
tools only run on the Suns of the instructional lab (nova's 
are preferred). Of course it is possible to work remotely,
setting up a remote xhost, but there are some performance 
problems then, together with some problems with the fonts
of IC Station. So I would like to schedule some additional
office hours that will be held at the instructional labs.

2. So, you can also find me at the labs CS 1358 or CS 1368
from 9 to 11 (am) every T and R. I will be in one of these
labs, depending on where can I find an available workstation.
Please note: if there are no available workstations at 9:00am,
I will be at CS5364 instead during the same time slots.
Unfortunately, there is no way we can reserve a nova 
workstation for the course at the instructional labs.
Also, when we meet at the instructional labs we will have
to be kind of quiet, so that we don't bother people that
work there. 

3. All the above are likely to change over the semester
depending on the situation with the tools, and your
project needs. There is a good chance that we will add
some additional office  hours, or that we will reschedule
the existing ones. Please feel free to send me any
suggestions you have.

I think that's all. Sometime in next week I will send
you some instructions for setting up your Mentor account
and directories, and we will start learning some
of the tools. In the meanwhile, it would be helpful if
you send me an email with a brief summary of whether
you have used any CAD tools before (Mentor or others). Please
note the tool that you have used, and what did you do
with it. This will help us prepare some tutorials in
a level that is more appropriate for the class.
