We've attempted to build 2.0 on = Solaris 5.8 for several days now with no success. We're using imake x11 = and Perl 5.6.1 with Gmake 3.79.1 and Gcc 2.95.3. It works beautifully = on Linux with basically the same arrangment. We're at the end of our = ropes. The problems are that we get Perl and Imake errors in the = bootstrap.pl. We've not been able to get past those. And we know that = there are other problems out there waiting for us. HELP!

Please retrieve and build from the interim snapshot instead of the "2.0 release", which is a bit dated. The linux support in that version is better. gcc-2.95 is supported. If you fetch the interim snapshot be sure to follow the build directions (found in the ftp directory) for it; DON'T use the build instructions from 2.0. Without the actual error messages I have no idea of what is going wrong and can't provide any help beyond the generic recommendation. As far as I know, there is shore 2.0 version (for windows NT), but this version ONLY are consist of storage manager. Then, Isn't another programs - for example Shore Value-Added Server NT version ? and On Windows NT, Can't I use completely shore system? (On Windows NT, Can I use ONLY storage manager ?) Please tell me possibility of using shore on windows NT.
