The wind on land has to go through buildings and trees and other things before you see it, the wind on the lake has no obstructions, kind of like when its dead near the shore and then you go out a little ways and its good sailing. Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-sailors@cs.wisc.edu Precedence: bulk I just got my light IL rating on Sunday....so now I can go out as long as I have another person for crew. If anyone wants to go out on an Interlake, let me know. Also, they said something about IL/tech racing on Wednesday...not sure how that's going to work, but it might be fun to try. -Mike ---- If you want to leave this mailing list, send mail to: majordomo@cs.wisc.edu with empty header and body "unsubscribe sailors".
