When you have time, please take a look at the CPS homepage: http://www.bahnhof.se/~chps/ If you like this survey work after visiting the CPS homepage, please pass this information to your friends or others on your local Chinese net and your alummi mailing list. The following are some informations copied from its homepage. ------------------------------- China Poll & Survey is managed by a group of voluntary overseas Chinese - a neutral non-profit club. The CPS club is an independent body, and will not take any order or financial support from any organization (political or non-political) or any government (west country or China or Taiwan). Its major purpose is to pass the voice of overseas Chinese to the Chinese government for its CONSIDERATION through neutral global polls among overseas Chinese on some major controversial social, economic and political issues in China. Ten millions of our fellow Chinese died of hunger during 1959-1961 (cf. HXWZzk9601a) because of an erroneous decision of the government. Our motherland cannot afford any similar erroneous decision any more. The online WWW survey system for China Poll & Survey is interactive, instantly-compiled, and totally-automated. All of our polls and surveys are anonymous. We hope you will encourage people to participate. We hope that our survey results can provide the government with the statistic percentage of various opinions among intellectual Chinese. We also hope that each text area in each poll can serve as a free press through which you can share your views with others. The results of this month's polls will be sent to the coming annual Convention of the National People's Congress. I am curious of the motivation behind the question because there is a legal issue involved here. The Fudan icon (i.e., Xiao4 Hui1 Tu2 An4) is a proprietary artifact owned by Fudan University. Nobody should have it printed on any documents without prior permission or knowledge of Fudan University. Just imagine how it would affect you personally if the Fudan icon is printed on someone's bogus academic credentials! Cheers! Hao Chen's original question was a technical question, you folks did not answer his question but scared him by "morals" and "legal motivations". If anyone wants to fake a legal document with Fudan icon on it, he/she can get it from any source very easily. I am sure that there are many vector-based White House icon files in the net. So either answer his question, or say "sorry, i don't know", but don't ever scare people. Please excuse me if any words offended anyone.
