To this end, I have purchased (with personal and donated money - thanks Sam!): 4100 red 5mm LEDs, 214 feet of breadboard bus-strips (you'll see) 10 sq ft of perfboard [The Plan] Anyway, Zach, Pete, and I came up with a design that will let us do the whole thing with nearly no soldering. We still need help laying it out, figuring out mounting issues, finding the best way to trim the LEDs, trimming the LEDs, hot gluing, doing the parallel port interface, and writing the control software. [When and Where] I was going to call for a hardwareSIG meeting next monday, but I have a program due the next day, and an exam due that thurday. If the parts get here this week, I'll email so we can get started this weekend. Otherwise it will probably have to wait until after finals. It'd be great to get a bunch of people working on this, so email if you want to get involved. -will -- ---------Will McDonald-----------------will@upl.cs.wisc.edu--------- GPG Fingerprint: DDD6 4020 6A8C 712E 2211 826C D5F9 D8E5 F433 2B28 "And the book says we may be through with the past, but the past ain't through with us."
