Let me try one more time. We are looking for a good C/C++ and Unix person. Send me an email if you are interested. NYNEX Science and Technology, Inc. is the part of NYNEX which is a local telephone company for NY and NE. I believe our benefits are decent. Also check out http://www.vtcom.fr/nynex/home.html -- H.J. First let me tell you about what we do: We design/implement turnkey systems for NYNEX. We use Unix as our platform. Our hardwares can be Sparc, SGI, Tandam, PC, ... They all run Unix. We have to do hardware and software. We have to write device driver and applications in C/C++. We have to manage our Unix boxes from sysm adm to networking. We are looking for someone who has experiences in those fields or someone who can demonstrate his/her ability to master those fields in a short period to join our team. You have to feel comfortable with C/C++, Unix, sys adm and networking. The position should be permanent and I think NYNEX will sponsor immigration status change. But I think they are the last things you should worry about. NYNEX will take care of them when it hires you. Our benefits are not great but above average for a big company like NYNEX. We have all the medical insurances and 401(k) plan. For one thing, you cannot count on our stock option :-(. Our stock is not that good. I think NYNEX will fly you here if it is determined to be necessary. We are located in White Plains, NY. If you want to send me your resume, please send it in ascii or in PostScript with gzip/uuencode. We are more interested in what you have done more than what you have learned in school. A cool Unix program will help. BTW, we don't do much GUI/X11 stuff here, although it won't hurt. H.J.
